Overview
The IDEAcarbon Carbon Calendar™ is an online tool that provides a continually updated listing of events in the global carbon markets. The Carbon Calendar™ covers three key event categories:
- Policy: Regulatory, legislative and negotiating events including CDM Executive Board and JISC meetings, the EU regulatory schedule, developments in national climate change policies around the world, and UNFCCC negotiations.
- Market: Market events including fixed and floating events, such as contract expiry dates and auctions.
- Conferences: Workshops, conferences and seminars in all major carbon markets.
- Premium Offerings
In addition, at a premium subscription level, the Carbon Calendar offers the following premium offerings:
- Reviews/Previews: Predictive outcomes of major events relevant to the carbon markets, and summaries of those events after they occur, respectively.
- Webinars: For CARBONfirst subscribers, the Carbon Calendar is an easy-to-find access point of interactive sessions with CARBONfirst interviewees and editors.
Distribution
The Carbon Calendar is distributed in three forms:
- Over-the-web through the IDEAcarbon website
- An ICS feed that can be directly imported into Microsoft Outlook calendars, Apple iCal, and Google Calendar, among other applications
- Adobe Acrobat PDF for users who prefer to see the calendar in document format
